Author and podcast host Jennifer Juan is preparing to explore other creative avenues, with the upcoming release of her debut single “Past Preston,” available in all digital music markets and streaming services from Friday the 13th of October 2017.
Venturing into music for the first time, “Past Preston” is the beginning of Juan’s upcoming multimedia project “Drowning In Us,” which will utilise music, creative writing and film to tell the haunting and tender story of two star crossed lovers, lost at sea, and will be delivered through an album of music, a collection of poetry and short stories, and a short film.
“Past Preston” is an instrumental piece, serving as the overture for the cinematic segment of “Drowning In Us,” and combines lush strings with sounds from the ocean, reflecting the project’s Blackpool setting.
Following the launch of her podcast “Sincerely, Jennifer x,” and the recent release of her latest poetry collection “Home Wrecker,” 2017 has undoubtedly been a busy year for the young creator from Kent in England.
Speaking about the upcoming release, Jennifer Juan said “I wanted to create something that set the scene, and captured the romance and drama of the story that I am going to tell.”
“Past Preston” will be available worldwide on all major digital music stores and streaming services, including iTunes and Spotify from Friday The 13th of October 2017.
